This role is ingrained within our bioanalytical technology teams, providing a variety of project support through all phases of our client services. You will be the glue connecting our internal functions to the actions required of an efficient and quality-driven project process. You’ll experience a broad range of responsibilities spanning study administration, client communications, revenue recognition, and ensuring on-time delivery of project milestones to name a few. This role exists to provide structure and efficiency to our team of scientists, so we can all focus on what we do best.

Essential Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define and monitor project timelines
- Ensure that projects remain on schedule and appropriately resourced
- Maintain a strong working relationship and open communications with all departments, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Sample Management
- Track project samples received, tested, and reported.
- Maintain accurate study records including documentation received and discrepancy / reconciliation activities
- Coordinate with Central Lab and/or Data Analytic group for Data Transfer Agreement setup and file transfer.
- Track Long Term Stability Timepoints
- Ensure great customer satisfaction
- Drive process improvements for efficient, effective, and thorough support for client studies
- Coordinate large scale sponsor portfolios to enable partnership success
- Maintain a strong working relationship and open communications with all departments, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Sample Management
- Prepare Sample Analysis worklists
- Support Sample Analysis Plan generation
- Support Quality review data submission
- Manage resource planning and project database systems
- Maintain accurate lead times for the Business Unit
- Manage team/Business Unit revenue recognition activities
- Proactively identify contract amendments required
- Manage team / Business Unit financial forecast
- Prepare team scheduling for Scientific lead
- Partner with BPM(s) to maximize team production
- Proactively identify and resolve barriers to team success
- Manage Client Specific Metrics and Tracking
- Update Operational Excellence Metrics
- Support custom metric needs for the Business Unit
- Adhere to safety and compliance requirements
Minimum Preferred Qualifications: Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to successfully interact with key internal stakeholders and clients
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects/tasks while still delivering high quality results under time constraints
- Strong organizational and project administration skills
- Experience working in a GxP environment preferred
- Familiarity with NetSuite
Education/ Experience (Project Manager I):
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than two (2) years’ experience in a biotechnology project management or related field; or
- Masters’ degree in life science, business administration, or related field
- Knowledge base in science with the relevant regulations for our industry (preferred)
- Knowledge base and exposure to project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
Education/ Experience (Project Manager II):
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than four (4) years’ experience in a biotechnology project management or related field; or
- Masters’ degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than two (2) years’ experience in a biotechnology project management or related field
- Knowledge base in science with the relevant regulations for our industry
- Proficient in project management software (smartsheet preferred)
Education/ Experience (Project Manager III):
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than six (6) years’ experience in a biotechnology project management or related field; or
- Masters’ degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than four (4) years’ experience in a biotechnology project management or related field
- Knowledge base in science with the relevant regulations for our industry
- Proficient in project management software (smartsheet preferred)
- Project Management Professional certification
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands:

- Occasional crouching or stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moving) objects, including laboratory samples, laboratory equipment, and laptop computer, with a maximum lift of 30 pounds
- Ability to use personal protective equipment and work effectively in freezers as cold as -80°C
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours as published in the BioAgilytix Employee Handbook
- Occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work required
