JAVA DEVELOPER (remote)
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Java Developer for a remote position with a direct client based out of Jacksonville, FL. The Java Developer will have 5+ years of java development experience along with Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, Apache Camel, Redhat Middleware, Kafka, and PowerShell Scripting.

Candidates must have permanent work authorization and not need sponsorship now or in the future. DO NOT CALL from a third party / C2C asking to share candidates. We are not considering any candidates from outside companies.

This is starting out as a six-month contract position with the strong potential to extend or convert to FTE. The Java Developer position is 100% remote and working in the eastern time zone during core business hours. Java Developer JOB SUMMARY:
Development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions.

Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models.
Documenting detailed system specifications and will participate in evaluating, conducting performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products.
Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs
IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

Java Developer REQUIREMENTS:

5-8 years of Java/J2EE development in a professional work experience
A bachelor degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or similar
Hands-on end development & experience along with Spring Boot, Jenkins (CI/CD), Microservices, REST APIs, Web Services
Experience with Hibernate, Kafka, Apache Camel, PowerShell Scripting, and any ESP or similar
