- Write initial nursing histories, assess patients' conditions, develop individual care plans, and evaluate outcomes of patient care according to accepted standards of practice; consult with other specialists as required and adjust nursing care process as necessary.
- Document patient care from admission through discharge incorporating the Nursing Process.
- Administer and document medications with a thorough knowledge of types, dosages, drug interactions and incompatibilities.
- Practice safety measures in all activities associated with patient care.
- Support the mission and vision of ARMC. Consistently practice excellent customer service.
- Teach, delegate, and direct both professional and nonprofessional nursing staff and interpret the needs of each patient to all persons participating in patient care.
- Maintain current knowledge relating to new developments and therapeutic measures for total patient care.
- Participate in the development of nursing policies and procedures and Quality Assurance activities. Follow all Nursing Departmental and Administrative Operations manual policies and procedures.
- Serve as patient advocate.
- Attend department in-services and staff development programs.
- Initiate emergency measures such as Code Blue and Code Red.
- Maintain and protect all patients’ rights to privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
Submission Requirements
- 2+ years of current MS/Tele experience - Required
- Must be able to read Tele Strips
- Must be able to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia exam - Required
- EPIC experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Trauma Level II experience - Preferred
- Previous travel - Preferred
- BSN - Preferred
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements:
- California
