The Professional Services Consultant provides valuable assistance to customers in the seamless integration and automation of their business processes using Celigo's iPaaS platform and Pre-built Integration Applications. In this role, the Consultant plays a critical part in analyzing customer requirements, designing and documenting integration solutions and executing their implementation effectively. As an integral member of the implementation team, the Consultant collaborates on the development of custom integrations between various cloud-based systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Amazon, Shopify, custom sites, and more. This position requires extensive customer interaction through calls and virtual meetings. At Celigo, Consultants work closely with customers, project managers, system architects, and developers to ensure the successful integration of business systems.
What would you do, if hired?
- Customer Engagements: Maintain a personal productive utilization target for customer engagements.
- Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their business processes, system requirements and integration needs. Make recommendations for the implementation of Pre-built and custom integration flows.
- Solution Design and Documentation: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to design and document integration solutions. This involves identifying integration touchpoints along with defining data flows and data mappings. Use IA Scope templates to document customers integration needs and flow configurations for Pre-Built Integration Apps.
- Configuration and Development: Assist in the configuration and implementation of integration solutions using Celigo's Pre-built Integration Applications. Work with Celigo’s Developers to utilize Celigo’s integration platform to configure and build custom data flows.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability and data integrity. Verify the solution meets the customer’s business needs prior to sharing the solution with the customer. During the customer’s acceptance testing period, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise.
- Training: Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to empower clients with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the integration solutions.
- Deployment and Go-live Support: Facilitate the deployment of integration solutions in collaboration with customers and relevant stakeholders. Provide go-live support to ensure a smooth transition and address any post-implementation issues.
- Team Collaboration and Project Monitoring:
- Work closely with project team members to ensure there’s open communication and clear expectations between project managers, solution architects, consultants and developers.
- Keep the project on target with respect to scope, budget and timeline by recognizing scope creep and following defined processes to address or mitigate.
- Ensure to set appropriate customer expectations.
- Project Hygiene: Keep the data about your projects current (status, end dates, comments, etc.) and accurately account for your billable and utilized project time.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on platform enhancements and integration technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
- Quality Assurance and Best Practices:
- Ensure adherence to Celigo's implementation methodologies, best practices, and quality standards in all projects.
Skills and Abilities
- Technical Expertise:
- Understanding of integration concepts, APIs, cloud-based systems, protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.), and data formats (XML, JSON, etc.)
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), ERP (NetSuite, Dynamics, etc), or eCommerce (Amazon, Shopify, etc) applications
- Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective integration strategies and solutions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential to handling multiple concurrent projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders. Active listening skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals are important.
- Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service. The ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored integration solutions that meet their requirements.
- Team Collaboration: A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, system architects, and other consultants. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the projects.
- Business Acumen: An understanding of business processes and how integration solutions can optimize efficiency, improve workflows, and drive overall business success.
- Problem-Solving Attitude: The ability to approach challenges with a positive and proactive mindset, seeking innovative solutions and overcoming obstacles in the integration process.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science (BSc, MCA), or other related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of combined industry experience in at least one of the following areas: enterprise software implementation, business analysis, or business process consulting
- Experience working with external clients on system implementations or training
- Experience with iPaaS or integration applications is preferred
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
