THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Director to join our amazing team of mission-driven individuals. The role will be responsible for prospecting and closing relationships with managed care organizations including national and regional health plans and insurers. This person will be a key part in building this vertical from the ground up, contributing to the division and organizational growth.
The role is perfect for an energetic, empathetic self-starter with 10+ years direct selling experience looking for the next lucrative challenge. This involves prospecting, building relationships through multiple touch-points and pitching Audicus as a hearing care solution to Managed Care Organizations including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial markets. It will entail a mix of strategic initiatives to research new opportunities and then proactively build relationships with key stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable with sales targets and wants to play a vital role in the growth of a NYC startup.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a book of business from the ground up
- Network extensively in the Managed Care (MCO) space
- Prospect MCO’s including national, multi-state carriers and regional health plans to build relationships
- Own the full lead cycle from prospecting to closing contracts with new partners
- Manage your pipeline in our CRM system (Salesforce)
- Attend conferences to meet people, network, build brand awareness and develop relationships
- Travel as required (up to 50% of the time) for: in person meetings and board presentations, trade shows, union events and conferences
- Manage RFP’s and proposal process for winning new business
- Effectively communicate our unique offering, value proposition & mission at Audicus
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of industry- relevant experience in managed care and related healthcare insurance/ health benefits sales, business development and closing contracts
- Experience meeting or exceeding large sales quotas at $2M+
- Interested in taking on leadership opportunities
- Ability to develop relationships and build rapport with clients
- Excellent presentation skills
- Competitive go-getter who continuously raises standards
- Hard-working individual that goes the extra mile to deliver results
- Previous early-stage startup experience preferred
- Experienced working towards revenue targets & metrics
Comp Range: $127-132K annual salary + commission (OTE $180-230K+)
