IT Lead Product Analyst MedTech Education
The IT Lead Product Analyst MedTech Education will own the vision and prioritization of the Event Management and HCP Engagements platforms features to meet business and technical need. There is flexibility on the location where this role will be based. In this role, you will work closely with the business to understand and translate business needs and requirements into clear and easily understood strategies and lead the technical delivery of solutions aligned to consumable product backlogs and sprint cycles.
Business Problem Understanding: Works with MedTech Education business partners to understand and translate business problems into value case and comprehensive sets of requirements for the planning process, technology, data, governance, compliance and user experience supported by defined key performance indicators.
Internal Partnerships: Acts as the primary IT collaborator with the business, aligning on product development needs for Event Management, HCP Engagements and related products through the definition, management and clarification of user stories and use cases for complex requirements. Ensures all partners are clear on the roadmap activities, interdependencies & due dates. Reports back to the business on status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications.
Program Oversight: Provides operating support for existing Event Management and HCP Engagements products, tactical support to all supporting functions and reports out on progress of own workstream. Has global accountability and owns global product functional knowledge.
Reporting to the Technical Product Owner IT Manager MedTech Education, you would partner closely with Global, IT and Business Product Owners to maximize the value of the Event Management and HCP Engagements solutions. In this role, you will own the end-to-end Event Management and HCP Engagements platforms lifecycle activities including technical vision, strategy, prioritization, delivery, and performance management.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of knowledge related to industry and business process and trends related to Global Education or related areas is preferred.
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
3+ years preferred of relevant experience in gathering requirements and translating into a product vision.
Demonstrated strong sense of urgency in completing deliverables, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills is required.
Experience with understanding business requirements and writing user stories.
Experience in managing and maintaining product backlogs/release plans.
Knowledge of CVENT and MS Dynamics is preferred.
Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle including focus on business agility, Agile delivery with a fail-fast mindset is preferred.
Ability to quickly understand business needs, including knowledge of business processes and value drivers of the products that consume the platform is required.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgement.
Ability to partner with development teams that support various technology platforms is required.
