We seek a highly driven Manager from a Chartered Accounting firm eager to transition into industry and advance their career with an expanding global healthcare organisation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this new and exciting role within the Finance team will concentrate on managing a small team, comprehensive finance operations, financial planning and analysis, while striving for ongoing enhancements and undertaking ad hoc finance-related projects.
What will your role involve?
- Leading the revenue and income department
- Reporting and analytical overviews to Senior Management on department performance and customer performance
- Ongoing support and development of policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve income, billing and revenue strategies
- Review and analyse data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Coaching and development of the Revenue and Income team
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborating with other group international Finance Managers on best practice
- Participating in ongoing UK finance strategic planning
Who are we looking for?
- Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting
- 5 + years experience working in a Chartered Public Accounting firm
- Strong leadership experience with a passion for developing people
- Analytical and problem solving ability are ‘second nature’. You enjoy spotting problems, issues and trends and quickly flag deviations from the strategy and business plans
- You’re calm and logical but flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment; a team player prepared to roll up their sleeves
- Strong communicator that can build relationships with all levels within the organisation
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills – easily and effectively able to report financial information to finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages including Excel and other finance systems
