| DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE | ||||||||
| Certified Painting Inspector oversee the blasting, painting, pickling & passivation of wide range product like fabricated structure, tank, pipe, vessel, etc., | ||||||||
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | ||||||||
| 1. Review of client coating specification and procedure. 2. Preparation of quality assurance and inspection test plan. 3. Review and approval of supplier surface protection inspection test plan. 4. Monitoring and record the painting procedure qualification. 5. Incoming inspection of paint and checking as per purchase order. 6. Monitor and verify daily weather log sheet, blotter test, beaker test, blasting pressure, salt contamination test, dust test, profile check, WFT, DFT, adhesion test, holiday test, etc., 7. Day to day inspection as per the request at our works and supplier place. 8. Monitoring the calibration of measuring and monitoring devices. 9. Preparation of blasting and painting record for client manufacturing data record. 10. Co-ordinating with customer on stage wise inspection. | ||||||||
| COMPETENCIES- Essential | ||||||||
| 1. BGAS-CWIP-Grade-2 or AMPP CIP Level-2 certified painting inspector. 2. Knowledge on inspection of Blasting, Painting, Pickling & Passivation. 3. Knowledge on SSPC, BGAS, NACE, ISO, etc., standards. 4. Knowledge on ASTM, ISO, IS, etc., testing standards. 5. Knowledge on MS office. | ||||||||

| 1. Knowledge on Rubber Lining & PVC Coating. | ||||||||
| FLUENCY ON TOOLS - Essential | ||||||||

| Having minimum 7 years' experience in inspection of surface protection (Blasting, Painting, Pickling & Passivation). | ||||||||
| ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (and % marks, if applicable) | ||||||||
| Essential : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with BGAS-CWIP-Grade-2 or NACE Level-2 certified. | ||||||||
| Desirable : B-TECH – Mechanical Engineering with BGAS-CWIP-Grade-2 or NACE Level-2 certified. |
