Main Accountabilities: - Perform Netweaver System copy method to build ABAP and Java systems- Perform Netweaver SAP Central instance and Application server installation- Experience in installation, migration of SAP ABAP and Java AS on UNIX environments- Should have hands on experience in SAP OS ( homogeneous
) migrations- Experience handling SAP systems in UNIX/LINUX environments- Creating Basis checkout test set and Technical cutover plans- Coordinate with Network, Firewall, Server Infrastructure team and Database Team- Perform Server build checkout and install certificates- Supporting SAP applications such as ERP, BW, BWA, SRM, Enterprise Portals, Fiori, Solution Manager, archive link and third-party tools such as Vertex and BSI tax factory etc.- Should have good knowledge and experience in administration the databases such as DB2 & Oracle.- Should have hands on experience in troubleshooting performance problems considering infrastructure, database, and SAP application server.- Co-ordination with Functional team, Hyper-Care support, Transport Setup, Performance optimization, Unit Test & Integration test supportKey Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Negotiate and communicate with support partners like SAP and Functional partners- Proactively address problems to prevent them occurring- Deliver ad hoc project work on time and as requested- Deliver and lead Basis services and delivery to different worldwide regions- Communicate with SAP team members, end users and other IT personnel to effectively interpret their requirements and then deliver where the SAP Basis Team are responsibleKey desired Competencies / skills and experience: - Minimum 10-14 years in SAP System Admin/NW/Basis Administration/Technical architecting/delivery- Experience performing SAP Basis administration on SAP ERP, SAP BW and NW Java instances and Solution manager technical monitoring. - Experience or knowledge in Solution manager Charm is a plus.- Experience with Enterprise Portals with FPN, Fiori, BW Accelerator, Solution manager & SPS update.- Experience installing, upgrading, and supporting both SAP ABAP and Java AS installations- Experience supporting SAP with DB2 & Oracle Databases on UNIX- Should understand the key concepts of SAP change management and SAP software logistics- SAP Basis certified consultants are preferred- Experience with Service Now, ALM and other change management tools. •
