We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Operations Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for marketing strategy and operations, leading the strategy and implementation of our marketing website, technical SEO, overseeing our event operations, orchestrating paid media campaigns, and ensuring seamless campaign execution - and ongoing improvement based on insights - across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence and data-driven strategy & decision-making. This role has one direct report.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Marketing Operations:
- Management and Performance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our marketing website to ensure optimal performance and a superior user experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with partnerships, design, academics, and marketing teams to meet website publishing deadlines and manage project delivery for all website-related requests.
- Contract and Vendor Management: Maintain and optimize contracts for third-party developers, analytics vendors, and website tools to ensure top-tier service and performance.
- Tracking and Compliance: Maintain all tracking tags, infrastructure, and permits across various channels and platforms to ensure accurate and compliant data collection & processing.
- Technical SEO and Paid Media:
- SEO Strategy: Lead the strategy and development of technical SEO to significantly improve search engine rankings and enhance organic traffic.
- SEO Implementation: Maintain and optimize contracts with third-party SEO providers to ensure best practices and cutting-edge strategies are employed.
- Paid Media Management: Working in collaboration with design, communications, and marketing team as well as external vendors, lead the execution of paid media optimize return on investment of paid media campaigns.
- Campaign Optimization: Ensure operational excellence by proactively monitoring campaign tracking through UTMs, paid media performance, etc. and generating detailed reporting to guide future marketing efforts.
- Event Operations:
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and track the success of marketing events, both virtual and in-person.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Email Marketing Operations:
- Email Campaign Management: Optimize email performance and conversions, including segmentation and automation testing. Manage the planning, execution, and analysis of email marketing campaigns to ensure engagement and effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.
- Collaboration and Project Management: Oversee project management processes to ensure smooth delivery and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This includes leading marketing initiatives as needed, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Analytics and Reporting: Create processes to track and report on all marketing activities to provide insights on the most effective channels and inform future investment decisions.
- Technology Rollouts and Adoption: Ensure effective rollouts of new marketing operations capabilities and technology, including implementation plans, change management, training, and adoption monitoring. Manage the integration of these technologies into daily marketing operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in roles that require collaboration and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and paid media
- Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics and Webflow
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Skills and Competencies:

- Experience in campaign management, with a track record of executing successful marketing strategies

LOCATION:
This role is remote, however you may be required to travel for business and team building meetings.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
