You will...
- Be onsite Monday through Friday and be responsible for maintaining a state of the art tech facility
- Work on maintenance, upgrades, and general ownership of a facility.
- Work with and manage designers, contractors, architects, property managers, brokers and third party vendors.
- Conduct regular checks and coordinate maintenance for facility equipment and utilities.
- Implement and manage emergency procedures and safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with Employee Health and Safety regulations.
- Manage and lead numerous contracted service providers including facilities services.
- Communicate logistics and processes to employees and create a welcoming experience for all new employees.
- Manage and lead our daily catering operations of the site.
- Be part of an events management team to successfully coordinate and execute company wide and office specific events.
- Collaborate closely with your facilities partners at our other locations
- Negotiate contracts and oversee the execution of services, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular checks and coordinate maintenance for facility equipment and utilities.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing workspaces for new hires.
- Create a great working environment for current and new Waabi employees.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience managing facilities or similar field.
- Demonstrated success in managing facilities less than 50,000 square feet.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Experience and excitement in supporting a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Passionate about being part of an organization solving self-driving technologies.
- Be physically able to lift up to 30lbs.
