Technology Stack

Fleek utilizes a modern native stack with a foundation in JavaScript. Our app development relies on frameworks like React and React Native. Our platform includes buyer and supplier-facing apps available on both the App Store and Play Store. Our website, currently running on Shopify, will soon transition to a native React stack.

In terms of infrastructure, we are proud to be powered by AWS. We leverage technologies such as OpenSearch, DataFlow, Lambda, and video streaming to enhance our platform and deliver exceptional user experiences. Our philosophy is to prioritize reusability while also embracing innovation.

Role Specific Details

As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Fleek, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our mobile applications. Main responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing high-quality, performant, and reliable mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Optimizing mobile applications for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Building reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices for mobile development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile development, with a focus on React Native.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and its core principles.
• Experience delivering high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience mentoring and guiding junior team members is a plus.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and GraphQL is a bonus.
• Startup experience is highly valued.
