You would be exposed to various customer use cases and deployment scenarios. You would have opportunity to identify/recommend new tools and methodology to test the use case. Have an opportunity to think from customer viewpoint to improve and influence overall quality of what Color Tokens delivers.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• As a lead member of the team, you will develop and improve the overall test strategies and quality of the team’s deliverables.
• Will be responsible to design and replicate customer topologies in house, testing, customer issues recreations that involves deep understanding of the problem.
• Develop solution test methodologies that include system, solution scale & bring focus to customer useability.
• Bring in a strong drafting solution testing plan and improve product quality in each release by reducing Customer found issues.
• Contribute to Solution test automation
• Work with various partners like PM, Development team to develop new solutions, participate in design discussions, review release targets, and test plans.
• Execute exhaustive testplans, focusing on potential weaker areas, performance and realistic scaleTroubleshoot failures and performance shortcomings and work with the development team on reproduction, root cause analysis, fix verification and bug/limitation documentation
• Communicate and present results to various stakeholders while providing feedback and recommendations on potential design and performance improvements
• Interact with sales team and customers to answer questions, handle ad-hoc requests and run small demos
• Collaborate with peers to cross-train on new technologies and improve team effectiveness
• Help the TAC team with escalations reproductions efforts when needed

 

Skill Pre-requisites for the role:

 

Must have

• Solid product testing experience including test planning, identifying the solution environment, conducting successful PoC etc.
• Proven experience in system, solution scale, and performance testing.
• Understand cloud and data center infrastructure, deployments.
• Provide technical expertise in system architecture, drive, and recommend optimal testing strategies.
• Operational knowledge on next gen firewalls, IDS, IPS, Micro segmentation
• Hands-on experience on Cloud infrastructure (vSphere, KVM, OpenStack, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc)
• Hands-on experience test automation using Python, TCL, Shell Scripting (at least one language proficiency)

  Good To Have

• Knowledge on best practices architectures for SaaS applications.
• Hands-on with Grafana, Kibana, Mongo Atlas monitoring tools              
• Hands-on experience on open-source network traffic generation / debugging tools (iperf, hping, tcpdump, iptables, netem etc)
• Have exposure to Ansible / Terraform

Other Pre-Requisites

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or Electronics
• 6-10 years of experience in front-end software development
• Great analytical thinking.
• Ability to think full stack when it comes to problem solving.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Excellent hands-on skills in deploying and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Willingness to help customers, peers, and other team members at any time.

        

Team & Culture:

                       You will be part of the team that validates the customer use cases,  working with system engineering  on PoC requirements and  be a voice of customer for engineering. This is a cross functional team, working closely with Product Management, System Engineering & Deployment teams.

                        The Leaders and team members have diverse expertise in Cybersecurity, Network Security, Cloud, SAAS, PaaS, IAAS with deep experience in scalable Product Development environment. You will work with Global and cross functional teams.
