As a Project Assistant, you'll be in charge of administration tasks of the team and the Health lab. Our advanced facility is equipped with cutting-edge tools like wearable sensors, indirect calorimetry systems, electrocardiograms, and respiratory gas analyzers, enabling precise monitoring of physiological and biomechanical responses during exercise and other activities. Help shape the future of wearable technology with groundbreaking research and impactful solutions.Check out our lab here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBNBCI8K4Jc">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBNBCI8K4Jc</a></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide support to Line Manager and Project Owner under assigned resources, deadlines, and project targets</li><li>Coordinate daily operations and support project team and monitor and report the project deliverables</li><li>Organize project/team meetings and workshops including generating meeting minutes</li><li>Coordinate a cross functional team to deliver the project requirements</li><li>Support project budget forecasting and monitor the execution and maintain project milestones and documentations</li><li>Support the project asset management and procurement</li><li>Support the patent process, contract signing, and GDPR consulting</li><li>Perform other assistant duties as assigned such as arranging team activities and handle administrative tasks e.g. working timesheet and travel management for team consultants, onboarding arrangement for new team members, organize international conferences etc.</li><li>Manage daily operations of a comprehensive human performance laboratory, maintenances of the science equipment and assets management.</li><li>Lead and supervise both the internal and external data collection campaign, and fulfill GDPR and other necessary compliances.</li><li>Provide extensive support to lab director with budget forecasting, project management and handling administrative tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Required background and experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business management, physiological or health related fields</li><li>Project management skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle complex resource balancing</li><li>Superior organization skills and adept at multi-tasking as well as efficient, independent and result oriented working style</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills / personal characteristics </strong></p><ul><li>Fluent in English (as a working language), Finnish or Chinese is a plus.</li><li>Strong skills in communication, documentation and project management. </li><li>Proven innovative skills and out-of-box thinking, ability to go beyond state-of-the-art. Being Enthusiastic about creating new ideas. </li><li>Flexibility and a willingness to take challenges</li></ul><p><strong>Location: </strong>Salmisaari, Helsinki</p><p><strong>Contract Type: </strong></p><p>This is a full-time consultant position, the consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.</p> •
