Senior Mechanical Engineer

Interested in working in dynamic team environment for a rapidly growing multinational corporation, supporting multiple custom automation projects.
Responsibilities

• Have familiarity with designing custom machinery to customer design specifications.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs SolidWorks and PDM software.
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Selection of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components based on machine function.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Attentive to detail, critically minded and self-motivated with the ability to follow a project to completion.
• Background in polymer molding, specifically using liquid polymers for dip molding or dip coating a plus.
• Conduct required research for commercially available items for mechanical systems.
• Able to perform load calculations to optimize machine structural components and FEA experience a plus.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and machine maintenance manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

• A minimum of 5 8 years of experience as a mechanical engineer.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
