We are currently seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to proactively manage our existing sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities for our 5 enterprise services..— software services, cloud, data, AI/ML, and quality assurance. Each new hire will be assigned to a specific business service as their domain and territory. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced B2B sales professional who can be trusted to dive right into a customer-centric/consultative selling approach and learn the ins and outs of the company. The ideal candidate can confidently manage a healthy and strong sales pipeline from generating their own leads to closing deals. This role also requires the BDM to prospect & further, qualify and nurture leads. Success in this role will be measured through the number of opportunities won. BDM’s are paid a base pay + commission.

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to the Sales Director or Sr Business Development Manager for your assigned role. You will work alongside other BDM’s. A pre-sales manager will assist in crafting your proposals and solutions.

We work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Confluent, and Outsystems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients through active listening, open communication, and fostering trust that will lead to understanding customer needs, and expectations to close deals.
  • Bring in leads and close deals in the shortest possible period by strategic selling, value selling, and good negotiations to ensure profitability and long-term engagement. 
  • Tailor solutions that meet customer needs within their budget constraints while ensuring company profitability.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition and justify the proposed solution.
  • Collaborate and work well with internal teams (e.g. presales, marketing, business heads, technical support) to ensure the successful account coverage, proposal, and delivery of services or products to clients.
  • Track and prepare reports on account performance metrics and provide insights for improvement to the team.
  • Maintain accurate/updated records of client information, interactions, transactions, and communications.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals through consultative selling and providing a high level of customer experience.

About You
You are/have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in B2B tech solution selling for Enterprises/SMB
  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills
  • Results-oriented sales individual with sales and technical knowledge to lead customer discussions
  • Has broad client coverage across industries and a proven track record in sales through meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Experience with CRM or sales engagement tools (i.e. Pipedrive, Hubspot, etc)
  • Experience dealing with executive and C-level clients
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of other communication channels such as GMeet, Zoon, MS Teams.
  • Proven ability to deliver sales; has great prospecting skills, and qualifies prospects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the IT software development landscape and its challenges.
  • Experience crafting compelling presentations and proposals that resonate with audiences.
