The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Head of Systems Engineering who is responsible for overseeing the Systems Engineering department. This position will drive excellence in execution across all engineering domains, including Software, AI, Cloud, QA, Data, and Security. The Head of Systems Engineering will ensure that their teams are equipped with the needed expertise and competency, supporting a multi-language, multi-cloud, and multi-tool environment.

Your Team
- You will be reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
- You will supervise Engineering Leaders in their respective domains (Software Engineering, AI, Data, Cloud, QA and Security).
- You will be working in tandem with the Head of Architecture Governance, Head of ITPMO, Head of Product Design and Development, L&D Team and Business Units.
Your Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Leaders in Web Development, Mobile Development, Backend Development, AI, Cloud, Data, QA, and Security.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Systems Engineering team.
- Ensure alignment of the engineering team’s goals with Stratpoint’s strategic objectives.
Technical Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement the technical strategy for the Systems Engineering Pillar, ensuring it aligns with the overall company objectives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality applications across mobile, web, and backend platforms.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, architecture, and development methodologies.
Capability Development:
- Ensure the engineering team is equipped with the latest technologies, tools, and skills required to excel in their respective domains.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Support the Capability Heads in building a multi-language, multi-cloud, and multi-tool engineering environment.
Collaboration and Integration:
- Work closely with the Head of Architecture Governance, Head of ITPMO, Head of Product Design and Development, FCTOs, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
- Foster collaboration between engineering, design, and business teams to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions.
- Support pre-sales and sales activities by defining technical solutions and participating in client discussions.
Quality Assurance and Security:
- Implement rigorous QA processes, including QA Automation, Performance Testing, and Continuous Improvement.
- Maintain the security and integrity of all systems and data, ensuring adherence to the highest security standards.
- Establish capabilities in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and best practices relevant to each engineering domain.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, encouraging the team to fail fast and recover faster to drive improvement and innovation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and practices.
About You
You are/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing diverse engineering teams across various domains (Software, AI, Cloud, QA, Data, Security).
- Strong expertise in software development, cloud architecture, data engineering, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to implement best practices in coding, architecture, and development methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in supporting pre-sales and sales activities and defining technical solutions for clients.
