This candidate will be responsible for supporting photochromic testing and working closely with our formulation chemists, development chemists by providing timely feedbacks on their projects. The candidate must demonstrate previous experiences with data quality and instrument quality control practice; a strong analytical background on instrumentation is a plus; so is the ability to work both independently and in a team setting to help track multiple tasks as this position is set up for being the 3rd shift position.
Key responsibilities:
Cover test entry, scheduling, testing, to data reporting to both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
A bachelor degree in physical science or a technical degree with 2-3 industry experience
Must have good communication skill and work both independently and in a team environment
Good attention-to detail on data quality and integrity;
Demonstrate good practice on quality control and trouble-shooting skills
Understanding on photo-chemistry and coating technology a plus
VBA and Python programming a plus
Schedule:
3rd shift - 10pm-6am Su-Th. Minimal OT.
Training typically on days for 1-2 weeks depending on how quickly they learn the processes.
