We’re looking for passionate and commercially-minded individuals across multiple levels & with a breadth of experience.<br></p><h3>You'll be (depending on level)</h3><p>Your role will expand in scope and responsibility depending on your level of experience:</p><ul><li><strong>Managing and Growing Strategic Partnerships: </strong>Persuade new local government partners to join us, launch them, build relationships and drive revenue growth opportunities throughout all partnerships. </li><li><strong>Securing Growth Opportunities:</strong> Identify and secure expansion opportunities through customer discovery and an understanding of government funding options, develop proposals and lead contract negotiations.</li><li><strong>Engaging Beam’s Referrer Network:</strong> Work closely and collaboratively across all of our accounts to create cross-customer opportunities and develop new partnerships through referrals from current partners.</li><li><strong>Achieving Ambitious KPIs: </strong>Constantly improve how we bring Beam’s services to more people, contributing to key performance metrics and expanding our share of local government budgets.</li><li><strong>Data Analysis:</strong> Analyse partnership data, provide actionable insights, and demonstrate impact to grow your accounts.</li><li><strong>Contributing to Team Development:</strong> Play a key role in the continuous improvement of the Partnerships function.</li> </ul><div> <h3>You are</h3> <ul> <li>Comfortable in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Commercially savvy, growing revenue is the key goal of this role.</li><li>Naturally inclined toward problem-solving and finding simple solutions to complex challenges - especially those around commercial negotiations.</li><li>A strong networker, able to build excellent relationships with stakeholders, comprehensively map out customer org charts and identify decision makers.</li><li>Data driven.</li><li>Humble, empathetic, and hungry to learn.</li><li>Passionate about bringing your authentic self to work every day.</li></ul><ul> </ul> <h3>You'll need (varying by role level)</h3> <ul> <li>Demonstrable experience selling to new partners and/or driving growth through partnership or account management.</li><li>Strong strategic thinking and experience leading contract negotiations.</li><li>Experience in managing large accounts and building complex customer partnerships.</li><li>Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Diplomacy and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across government and charitable organisations.</li><li>Compassion for people in challenging situations.</li><li>Ability to multitask, adapt to change and remain resilient with a positive attitude.</li><li>Familiarity with CRM systems (we use HubSpot) is a cherry on top for this role!</li></ul><p></p> </div><h3><strong>About Beam</strong></h3><p>We’re a team of over 150 working from our beautiful coworking space in Shoreditch and from home.
