Sr./ Lead Test Engineer

About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.


Salary Range: $80K- $90K/Annum with benefits

Location: Dallas, Texas and New York city , NY – Day One Onsite
 
Job description:

• ISTQB Certification is mandatory
• Hands Java development.
• BDD framework development and Cucumber
• API automation
• SOAP and REST webservices.
• Java, Selenium WebDriver and JBehave/Cucumber.
• BDD knowledge and Gherkin

• 7+ years
• 2+ years with Java, Python, or JavaScript
• 3+ years with frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Experience with databases/SQL to identify patterns/trends
• Experience with XML, REST, SOAP
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Strong debugging skills
• Attention to detail & collaboration

• Experience with functional tests
• Experience with non-functional tests
• Technical individual contributor with quality engineering tools
• Experience with closed-box and open-box testing
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark
• Knowledge of deployment strategies like Canary, Blue/Green, A/B, etc.
• Experience with BDD or TDD
• Experience with Code Quality tools like SonarQube
• Experience with Security Scanning tools like Snyk, BlackDuck
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI
• Self-motivator, passion for excellence in product quality and reliability
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
