Software Engineer II

Based in Portugal and ideally Porto, you'll report into a tech lead and be an instrumental part in the creation of next-generation software solutions for Threads. Psychological safety is at the very heart of who we are. We work in Agile squads who are open and value continuous improvement and sharing knowledge.

We are integrating our client and internal systems to create a next-generation solution to help us to lead in luxury omni-channel commerce in the fashion industry.

Requirements

• Knowledge in developing solutions using javascript or typescript
• Commercial experience using client-side Javascript, CSS and HTML5
• Knowledge in either React development patterns and related tools or in developing services and API’s using Node.js
• Experience with the tooling involved in building modern web and mobile applications (bundlers, Linters, ES6, testing frameworks)
• A basic knowledge of concepts concurrency and asynchronous actions

Technical Abilities

• At Threads, we always aim to use the best tool for the job. Today’s stack includes, but isn’t limited to: TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, React, React Native, GraphQL, Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
