Fashion Editor

As Fashion Editor, you will report to the Head of Creative and Content to provide editorial and fashion knowledge, vision and styling. You will manage product selection and direction for styling and content. 

Day to day you will manage the fashion stylists under the direction of the Head of Creative and Content. You will be responsible for visually communicating our brand with your styling and fashion knowledge while helping us to maximise our luxury fashion sales. 

You will contribute to setting of Threads fashion POV ahead of the season, and present trend reports and future focus insight to the wider business. 

This role will require your attendance to the office of a minimum of 3 days per week outside of any external shoots you may need to attend. This ensures that the role responsibilities are present with your immediate team, and to be able to work collaboratively with the wider business.

Requirements

• An impeccable understanding of the competitive luxury commerce landscape
• A strong understanding of the many social platforms Threads operates across and the content we are producing for each of these.
• A good knowledge of designers and brands and a keen eye on new and up-coming brands 
• A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season
• A good understanding and eye on style influencers within the industry and an understanding of the influencers that are relevant to Threads.

Technical Abilities

• Capable of creating a strong output even when working to tight deadlines.
• Native use of social media platforms, specifically - Instagram, TikTok,  Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp.
• Excellent attention to detail, specifically when it comes to brand partner guidelines

Abilities/Experience

• Proven experience in an editorial/luxury fashion or luxury commercial/e-commerce environment. 
• Experience managing a team
• Able to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and an exceptional eye for detail

• Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve and drive Threads forward
• Excellent time management
• Strategic thinker, contributing new ideas and improvements to make the team and the business great
• Passion and the desire to learn, grow and thrive within the role.
