About the role

LifeMD is seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to join our team in New York City. This role is integral to our organization's data strategy, working across various departments including marketing, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in R and SQL and be adept at communicating complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels. This role will be responsible for full-ELT data workflows; from extracting data from source systems to transforming the information and presenting key takeaways in an insightful manner.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis and generate actionable insights. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. This role will be responsible for taking requirements from stakeholders and transforming these requirements into analytics output to support the business
• Data Management: Operate across the entire ELT process, ensuring data integrity and quality from extraction through transformation to loading and visualization
• Technical Expertise: Utilize R and SQL to manipulate and analyze large datasets. Demonstrate proficiency with BI tools and data visualization platforms
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including marketing, operations, and finance, to support data-driven decision-making
• Project Management: Manage analytics projects from conception through to execution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data solutions
• Data-Decision Making: Understand the implications of decisions regarding data–how data is prepared and how the decisions around that preparation will impact users and processes downstream. The ideal candidate should consistently make sound decisions around data that strengthen LifeMD’s data organization and drive valuable insights

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years working in data and analytics, with demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and complex data workflows
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in R and SQL is mandatory. Familiarity with Looker, BigQuery, and dbt is a plus
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data insights into strategic business recommendations
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Location: Based in the New York City area, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity
