Working Hrs.: 7.25 Hrs. / day
Assignment Type: Hybrid - 3 days in office 2 days at home.

Governance and Architecture
Business architecture/information architecture
RUS/TSD (transportation safety division)
10 years plus experience in integrated environment- business analysis or architect role

Solutions & Cloud Architecture 35%
Experienced in development & implementation of solutions to the public cloud using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) (Azure experience preferred)
Demonstrated leadership role with integrated environments with mid-tier solutions using API / microservice architecture
Demonstrated leadership role in supporting threat / risk assessment and risk mitigation for integrated solutions
Proven ability to lead architecture of hybrid deployment of solutions to on-premise data centers as well as multiple cloud providers
Demonstrates capabilities to lead architecture solutioning including various cloud services and provide the best fit for the organization
Agile Software Delivery & DevOps 20%
Capable of working as an architect using Agile delivery methodologies
Ability to work as an embedded team member with the delivery team to provide leadership and guidance to the solution design
Demonstrated experience in leading solutions delivery project teams from a technical delivery perspective
Experienced in automation that supports DevOps with deployment of architecture documentation and architecture solution diagrams / deliverables
Technology 20%

Experience with platforms such as Mainframe, Mid-Tier, and Mobile
Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux
Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, IMS, DB2, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL
Experience with programming languages such as Java, PL1, Cobol, .NET / C#, and JavaScript (including responsive web extensions such as Angular, React, Node.js)
Experienced in cloud networking design and implementation including design of Virtual networks (V-Nets), Sub Networks (subnets), network peering, Web Application Firewalls
Experience with API Management, REST API

Information Architecture - 10%

10+ years of experience in the development and implementation of applications and databases
Demonstrated experience providing information architecture interpretation advice and expertise to other project and/or enterprise level I&IT project teams
Demonstrated experience delivering architectural artefacts as required by the project to successfully pass through the project review governance points
Demonstrates previous leadership in complex application architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects for enterprise initiatives

Public Sector / Large Enterprise Organization Experience - 5%

Experience with Public Sector / large enterprise architecture governance and committees
Experience with IT standards including for an organization such as the GO ITS standards
Experienced leadership in leading projects through enterprise architecture governance committees such as the Ontario Government's Architectural Review Board and providing relevant documentation and artifacts to support

Soft Skills - 10%
