Job Description:Seeking a Signal Processing Systems Engineer to provide RF sensor design and analysis support for the Lower Tier Future Interceptor (LTFI) IRAD. The selected candidate will develop stabilization algorithm, create sensor models for flight simulation, analyze performance, and conduct off-nominal assessments and trade studies.
IRAD Objectives include:* Development of a representative LTFI seeker
* Demonstrate hit to kill accuracy through flight test on Client-3 MSE missile
* Completion of tasks prior to RFP for inclusion
* Reuse current hardware/software interfaces to seeker to minimize development and integration risks
Possible scope will include development of advanced seeker algorithms and assessment of advanced targets.
Leveraging SensorSim to backup Boeing signal processing is desirable.
Basic Qualifications:Radar and RF systems performance modeling experience. Experience developing/analyzing RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. Experience with algorithm development, and signal processing.
Desired Skills:Experience with the flow down of radar requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB). Experience with SensorSim. Experience with Client-3. Experience with Electronic Warfare / Countermeasures (EW/CM).
