Systems Administrator

This position is a part of the epay Infrastructure Engineering organization, and is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.  The position works in a collaborative environment to architect, develop, and support complex enterprise solutions.

·          Ability to manage and efficiently work service requests and tickets; initial point of contact

·          Participate in key Infrastructure related project work

·          Serve as an escalation point for server patching issues from operations team

·          Overall system performance tuning and monitoring in a mixed Windows / Linux environment

·          Perform regular maintenance upgrades to Infrastructure systems.

·          Administer and monitor storage and backup platform services

·          Assist in system vulnerability assessments and remediation

·          Respond and plan for service outages.

·   Participate in on-call rotation outside of business hours.

o    VMWare

o    VMWare Enterprise management, SSO

o    Backup, snapshots, virtual networking, and storage

o    VMware vSphere, Clustering, Datastore, RDM, HA, DRS, Vmotion, Distributed Switches, VSAN and Site Recovery

o    ESXi Version Platforms 7/8

o    Storage

o    Storage provisioning for enterprise SAN systems (i.e 3PAR,Pure, Dell EMC)

o    Hyper Converged technologies (i.e. VSAN, Nutanix)

o    Enterprise backup solutions – backup/restore/SLA policy management

o    S3 on-prem and cloud storage solutions (i.e. MINIO, AWS GCS)

o    Microsoft / Windows

o    Active Directory Sites, services, users, computers

o    Group policy management and administration

o    ADFS / DNS / DHCP

o    NTFS and AD security permissions

o    WSUS patching administration

o    Sharepoint and O365/Exchange administration desired

o    Windows Server 2019, 2022

o    Powershell or equivalent scripting experience is desired

o    Linux

o     Redhat ,CentOS 7, Alma 8

o     System provision / OS configuration

o    Cloud platforms

o     Essential system administration management in related cloud platform (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google)
