Facilities CAD ManagerLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: 5-6 monthsDescription:Client is seeking a Facilities CAD Manager to become part of our Facilities team. The Facilities CAD Manager maintains and manages drawings and important documents for our Bay Area facilities. They maintain an accurate set of building as-builts, manage post project document submittals, maintain revision control, coordinate operating manuals with Operations, and stores the files in an easily accessible location.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorkplace CAD & BIM ManagerResponsible for maintaining all record as-built drawing files, revision control and contract close out documents in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by FacilitiesIntegrate the retrofit project construction drawings into the existing as-built drawings.Create and enforce AutoCAD and BIM drawing standards.Update AutoCAD drawings of changes. This may include but not limited to updating architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and furniture systems.Coordinate all activities related to the Drawing Control (submittals, specifications, and drawings).Responsible for the storage of all completed contract documents, drawings, manuals and miscellaneous project documents in a manner that is traceable, easily retrievable and available to all authorized stakeholders.Participation in client and internal project review meetings.Works closely with all project managers responsible for delivering design or construction projects; providing support to all capital improvement projects and the project managers.Develops policies, instructions, and procedures to implement and maintain building information modeling platform such as BIM360 with the goal of executing all future client projects in a unified platform from design through construction.Maintains expert knowledge of BIM industry standards as well as implementation and enforcement. Interacts with industry colleagues to exchange ideas and share information related to best practices and continuous improvements.Experience with CAFM systems. Tririga preferred.Update, maintain and provide ongoing support to validate and verify the accuracy of CAD/CAFM space types, identification, and related data.QualificationsMinimum of five (5) years professional experience with AutoCAD and BIM/Revit drafting.Minimum three (3) years related work experience in large scale buildings and records management.Experience with engineering drawings and records management practices and procedures.Experience with engineering disciplines like Client, civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical and telecommunication.ICONMA’s Discrimination Disclaimer
