Business Systems Analyst - Software Implementation

Resource Innovations is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Software Implementation Expert to join our growing team.  

We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst with strong energy efficiency knowledge and experience to support the continued growth of our Resource Innovations software professional services group.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience as an analyst in the utility energy efficiency industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical systems solutions for Demand Side Management, Transportation Electrification, and clean energy technologies, specifically for utilities, transmission, and distribution system operators.
• Analyze customer business drivers, key use cases, and high-level objectives to tailor solutions effectively.
• Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Resource Innovations' SaaS platforms, becoming an adept user and advisor.
• Enhance the efficiency of both internal and external systems and workflows in support of Resource Innovations' business goals.
• Prepare detailed gap analysis reports, use-case documents, and develop comprehensive Technical Requirements and Specification Documents.
• Provide expert consulting on product configuration and launch, along with ongoing system support for a suite of Energy Efficiency management products.
• Oversee the full life cycle implementation of enterprise software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and project guidelines.
• Facilitate the implementation of business logic, user interfaces, and databases, and collaborate with clients’ technical teams and stakeholders for seamless integration and functionality of implemented systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or MBA with a Technology Management focus. 
• 3-5 years of working experience in systems development and using energy efficiency management systems 
• Ability to analyze, prepare and implement energy data for clients 
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills 
• Must be able to travel locally and within the US up to approximately 20% of the time. 
• Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
