Position Requirements: Design is the most visually impactful part of our organization. From Socials to LEDs to Stickers, Merch and Thumbnails - everything we do is uniquely branded. Graphic Designers will work with a team of creatives to produce the visual look and feel for special events, serve days, Tribes, Wednesday Night experience and more. Designers at Transformation Church typically produce designs across multiple media formats including digital, print, apparel and physical design.
HEART (Passions + Purpose)
- Demonstrate a stable, mature Christian walk, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit
(Gal 5:22-23) - Maintain a strong, personal relationship with God, exemplifying a disciplined worship plan through prayer, Bible study, and financial giving of tithes and offerings
- Steward well church and personal finances, relations, time, and health
- Help transform lives by regularly inviting others to our church services
- Emotional health and balance between handling multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Belief and understanding of TC’s culture code, core behaviors, and C.O.R.E leadership
- Passion for Representing God to the Lost & Found
- Willing to become a member of TC and submit to the direction of the pastors and Lead Staff
- Passion for putting Christ in the middle of a culture
HAND (Expectations + Duties):
- Develop creative media to support the brand and amend designs after feedback
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
- Recruit, train and develop volunteer designers to execute different graphic design projects
- Create content to support our website
- Collaborate with Creative Department team members to execute projects with excellence
Head (Knowledge + Training):
- REQUIRED: Successful candidates should have a minimum of one to five years experience working in professional design
- Bachelors Degree is a plus, but not required
- Self starters are highly valued in our organization
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma is a plus)
- Excellent typography and composition skills
- Fresh and innovative thinking
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflict in a calming manner
- Self-awareness to identify strengths and weaknesses
- Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
