Position Title - Global HR Data Analyst
Primary Responsibilities
The Global Human Resources (GHR) Reporting & Analytics team is drilling deeper into the details of the data and enhancing the value of our HR data using more sophisticated tools, processes, and systems. This position merges a technical developer with a business data analyst role, sits within the HR business unit, and is focused on delivering reports, analyses, proactive consultation, and solutions that support and enable HR and other business units' decision-making.
Primary focus on analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of Global Human Resources (GHR) Reporting & Analytics projects in Power BI and similar technologies/methodologies
Gain deep familiarity with existing HR data, systems, and processes for all HR Centers of Excellence to allow for improved consultations and requirements gathering
Design and implement custom HR reports, analytics, and dashboards for multiple consumers and business units
Assist in the delivery of quality solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Azure data warehouse, SAP BW, Denodo virtualization, and/or related technologies
Coordinate with subject matter experts and data warehouse teams to cleanse and prepare datasets for visualization in multiple tools
Troubleshooting, analyzing options and resolving performance-related and data-related issues in dashboards and analytics applications
Prepare and manage technical documentation: technical design and technical specification for the back end and ensure Enterprise Data Catalog is maintained for all HR data assets
Work with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other developers throughout the design, development, and implementation of required reports, reporting solutions, or other supplemental applications
Following rapid deployment processes, create reporting applications using Excel, Power BI, and similar tools
As part of a team, jointly work to design and implement semantic, statistical, and machine learning models, to support advanced & predictive analytics, and establish the framework for a digital twin for Global Human Resources strategic workforce planning
Mandatory Skills
5+ years of experience in building complex reports, dashboards, and applications in data visualization tools like Power BI, tableau, etc. Strong proficiency and expertise in DAX.
5+ years experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
5+ years of strong SQL coding experience
3+ years coaching, training, and consulting with business users from a business process perspective
3+ years experience driving success through partnerships with Global IS for ETL creation, data modeling, security modeling, testing, implementation, annual audits, and required sustaining activities for a reporting data warehouse
Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, with experience using various technologies (eg. Azure, SAP BW, Power BI)
2+ years experience working with HR data and/or HR systems, HR tools, and HR processes
Strong experience in optimizing and troubleshooting the dashboards and providing the recommendation on the design
Ability to work independently and must be able to articulate and successfully implement the proposed solution
Proven problem-solving skills and excellent communication & presentation skills in the English language
Desirable Skills
Experience working with HR professionals in delivering people-related reports and analytics
Experience with Microsoft Power BI (including DAX expressions) and SQL coding
Experience with Visier People Analytics
Experience in data federation, master data management, and virtualization tools (i.e. Denodo, Axon)
Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, etc.)
