Job Description: Project Specialist III
The role of the Project Specialist is to support the development of the global supply plan for the Specialty Care Franchise in the Sanofi Genzyme manufacturing network by facilitating the Global Supply Review, developing and reporting KPI's, inventory analysis and supporting the Launch of the Rapid Response planning tool.
Responsibilities:
· Supports the Global S&OP process by facilitating Global Supply Review (GSR) with a continuous improvement mindset
· Develops and reports department KPI's
· Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales as well as coordination of new product launch plans.
· May be required to support one or more existing products
· Interfaces throughout the company to understand and identify relevant risks/ contingency opportunities related to supply chain for a product or products.
· Handles complex product planning supply chains across multiple site/suppliers.
· Evaluates inventory allocation/ leveraging opportunities throughout the supply chain and recommends process improvements.
· Directs and coordinates integration of systems and processes and supply chain flows across global sites, contract manufacturing organizations and/or newly acquired entities.
· Liaison to global marketing, finance and key-country/ market contacts relevant to market-specific demand drivers.
· Facilitates robust communications with RA, Quality, Operations, and site Materials Management organizations relevant to supply issues.
· Leads weekly meetings with key-players and actively participates on multiple projects that have an impact to supply chain.
· Develops and recommends new global supply chain strategies to higher-level management staff and implements these globally.
· Ensures strategies are current with regard to compliance regulations, practices, and costs.
· Creates Long Range Planning as well as quarterly and annual supply forecasts
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred) with 7-10+ years' work experience (or Master's Degree (Supply Chain)) with 5+ years' work experience
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite programs, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience working with DRP, MRP, and ERP systems.
· 3-5 years inventory planning experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Master's Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent professional certification such as APICS certification
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail oriented but gets the big picture
· Strong analytical ability along with expert level knowledge of excel,
· Ability to lead and collaborate in cross functional teams to make decisions without having direct authority over those functions
· Adjusts quickly to complex changing work priorities and unplanned events
· Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
· Exercises situation appropriate behavior in dealing with others and works effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and cultures
· Gathers and analyzes information to make decisions without requiring direct management involvement
· Anticipates issues or problems and takes preventative action
· Considers the impact of decisions on the entire organization
