Job Description: Overview:
Temporary assignment providing project support to the HR team. Assists a project by developing and managing processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase the projects productivity. Typically, a project needing a Project Analyst will be of significant size and will require expertise related to the development of project management mechanisms. Position will be expected to also analyze and present data in a logical way to support the project objectives.
The responsibilities of the role include:
Upon presentation of a problem, is able to recognize the full scope of the issue, comprehend the majority of potential inputs and impacts, develop both short- and long-term solutions, and use available resources to achieve resolution.
Has a mastery of standard applications (MS Office), and a command of project specific software (e.g. Visio, Tableau).
Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact
Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
Contributes to and updates project planning activities (e.g., plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure) to support Project Managers or Leads on moderately sized projects or processes.
With support and guidance from managers, develops methods for tracking the progress and execution of moderately complex projects/processes to ensure deadlines are met.
Gathers and analyzes information and data for basic patterns and comparison to identify potential project gaps and track project metrics; proposes solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity, and leverages available resources to achieve resolution.
Assists with implementing new and established processes and methods (e.g. tracking tools, schedules, databases, documentation management systems). Coordinates across teams for moderately sized projects to identify and meet needs, communicate progress, and ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.
Experience in developing detailed project schedules by working directly with leads.
Ability to develop mechanisms for tracking the progress of the project and independently recognizing status needs.
Understanding the progress of the project well enough to provide detailed project status reports to management or the customer on a regular basis.
Responsible for developing and managing processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase the productivity of a project.
Analytical Skills - The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes the ability to gather, integrate, and interpret information from several sources.
Minimum requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
Preferred requirements:
Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience
Experience documenting HR system business processes

- Project Management experience
- Self starter/reliable (will have training but needs to be able to work on their own)
- PowerPoint and presentation experience (creating powerpoint - is a big must)
