Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and testing electrical circuits in support of new product developments as well as enhancing existing products in our energy storage product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role the incumbent's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Review and take ownership of customer technical requirements.
Develop an electrical architecture to satisfy the technical requirements within the constraints of budget, recurring cost, and schedule.
Detailed design and analysis for new circuit or circuit variants including schematic design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers and Battery Management Circuits.
Actively participate in product qualification of new products per customer requirements and industry standards such as DO-160, MIL_STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.
Generate sub-assembly and top-assembly acceptance test procedures (ATP).
Resolve technical problems with existing products and new designs.
Perform prototype and qualification unit testing activities.
Participation in software development, verification, testing and documentation per DO-178 is a plus.
Use of simulation software such as Matlab or PSPICE to simulate design concepts.
Generation of engineering documents such as Test Plans and Test Reports.
Supports integration and system testing of hardware and software.
