Core One is seeking an experienced OSINT Trainer for a prominent defense and security organization committed to providing innovative solutions to support our military and government clients. As an OSINT Trainer, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to enhancing the capabilities of our military personnel in the field of Open Source Intelligence. Your expertise in OSINT will be instrumental in preparing our forces to effectively collect, analyze, and exploit publicly available information (PAI) to fulfill a range of mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive instruction on the collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) through the proficient use of OSINT tools.
- Deliver training on the exploitation of social media platforms and public-accessible databases to extract valuable intelligence.
- Guide trainees in the gathering, synthesis, and analysis of open source intelligence information to support critical objectives, including force protection, counterterrorism, counternarcotics, and other areas of the Army mission.
- Train personnel on how to effectively respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Play a pivotal role in curriculum development by providing valuable input to design and enhance OSINT training requirements, ensuring alignment with current industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to provide essential support to operational planning, technical paper development, and other tasks as directed by the customer.
Required Education, Experience, & Qualifications:
- Active US TS/SCI Clearance
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated intelligence experience with a Master's degree (MA/MS) or 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
- Successful completion of Government OSINT Training courses such as OS301/OS302, CASO, or equivalent programs within the defense or intelligence community (e.g., DIA OS1, FBI OS101).
- Proficiency in the utilization of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) OSINT tools, including but not limited to the Berber Hunter Tool Kit applications (e.g., SILO, SCRAAWL, Data Miner, and Babel).
- Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, analysis, or the exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) and social media.
- Prior military or government analytical training in areas such as all source, SIGINT, HUMINT, or GEOINT.
- Proven knowledge of signature reduction techniques and practical experience in collecting and exploiting information from the deep web and dark web.
- Experience in training individuals, with a demonstrated ability to impart knowledge effectively.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Experience in conducting intelligence analytical support for the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Proficiency in a foreign language with a rating of 2+/2+ on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and technologies, including but not limited to Python, Java, R Script, and JEMA.
