Role: AV Engineer

JOB Description:
SUMMARY
The AV Engineer will be responsible for providing the end-to-end audiovisual technology experience within the L’Ore´al environment across the Americas. This includes but not limited to set up, service and maintenance of the audio/visual collaboration solutions. This individual will maintain all AV documentation, including inventory, room kits, serial numbers, and network information for the AMER Zone. This also include project management of installations of AV systems and hardware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES System Design and Integration:
- Integrate state-of-the-art audio and video hardware, codecs, cameras, microphones, and control systems into meeting spaces.
- Ensure seamless compatibility and interoperability with various conferencing platforms and technologies.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of industry-leading AV conferencing systems and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues promptly, minimizing disruptions.
-Help build/troubleshoot APIs for video conference systems to integrate with Zoom -Coordinate with AV companies to install rooms and follow up with documentation and support 3. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of AV systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and proactive monitoring to preempt technical challenges.
4. Project Management:
- Lead AV integration projects from inception to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
5. Client Support:
- Deliver exceptional technical support to internal stakeholders, addressing AV-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users for effective system utilization.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of AV system configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Develop user-friendly guides and manuals for internal teams.
7. Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in AV system design, integration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron) and video conferencing platforms (e.g., TEAMs, Zoom).
- Strong familiarity with networking protocols and infrastructure.
- Certifications?
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
