Vulnerability Research Engineer
Remote

MUST :
4+ years of hands on experience with Linux
Strong experience with Mobile app security
Strong experience with web application vulnerability and security weaknesses
Python, C# or Perl Scripting and command lines
Comfortable utilizing network sockets to Implement common application protocols (HTTP, SSL, FTP, DNS, SMB, LDAP, RPC, etc.)
Familiar with common Application Layer content formats, such as HTML, XML, CSS, etc.
Familiar with vulnerability exploitation techniques, such as NOP sleds, heap spraying, return-oriented programming, JIT spraying, etc..
Static or run-time binary reverse engineering of client/server software
Reverse engineering and exploit development experience, a plus
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work well with a team or independently
Bachelors Degree in related field strongly desired

DUTIES :
Ideal candidate will be passionate about current technology trends in the security/vulnerability field and keeping the current systems / products up to date
Provide analysis of vendor-supplied patches and remediation guidance;
Development of vulnerability check signatures and remediation content
Researching and tracking the latest published vulnerabilities
Candidate should have a technical understanding of basic software security pitfalls, such as stack overflows, heap overflows, null-pointer dereferences, SQL injection, cross site scripting, directory traversal, etc...
