The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company. This role is critical in helping our company achieve its financial goals.
Essential Duties:
The duties listed below are the essential functions of this position, and they may change as the needs of the company demand. All associates are expected to do what is necessary to get the work done and to cooperate fully with their supervisor’s requests for additional or altered duties.
- Support the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis
- Utilize business analytics software to develop and maintain interactive financial dashboards and reports, enabling real-time data analysis and visualization for key business metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic financial plans, including long-term financial models and scenario analysis.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Work closely with various departments, including accounting, sales, and operations, to gather financial data, support business initiatives, and ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement strategic financial plans and initiatives. Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Education/Training/Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with a significant portion in a software company or related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling using advanced Excel skills. Experience with PowerBI or other data analytics software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working with Private Equity, and M&A activity is preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to travel representing the company’s interests as required.
- Ability to attend work and meetings with excellent attendance and punctuality.
