Physical Therapist

This job is located in Providence, RI

Hours: 5x8 

2nd Shift

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. You'll work with a diverse patient population, employing evidence-based techniques to address a range of conditions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify impairments and formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to achieve treatment goals.

• Orthopedic Care:

  • Provide expert care for orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and musculoskeletal disorders.

• Specialized Interventions:

  • Administer specialized treatments for vestibular disorders, lymphedema management, Parkinson's disease, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

• Education and Exercise Prescription:

  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and prescribe exercises for home-based rehabilitation.

• Collaborative Care:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.

• Continuing Education:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy through ongoing professional development.
