Zapp partners with some of the world’s leading brands to deliver an exclusive range of hand-picked products 24/7, delivered in minutes. </p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong></strong>Develop and implement strategic plans/initiatives for the Non-Perishable category that align with the overall business objectives, sales targets, and customer demands.</li><li>Monitor supplier service levels on a day-to-day basis to ensure in-full and on-time delivery of high quality products. </li><li>Utilise data analysis, historical sales trends, and market insights to support demand forecasting for Non-Perishable items and create replenishment plans accordingly.</li><li>Implement inventory management strategies to minimise stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and maintain optimal inventory turnover for Non-Perishable products.</li><li>Establish and monitor quality control standards to ensure that all Non-Perishable products meet the company's quality criteria before reaching the shelves.</li><li>Implement measures to minimise product waste and shrinkage, continuously monitoring expiration dates and handling damaged products efficiently.</li><li>Work closely with the Marketing/Merchandising team to plan promotions, seasonal offerings, and special campaigns for the Non-Perishable category.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, food safety standards, and health regulations governing the handling and storage of Non-Perishable goods.</li><li>Utilise supply chain analytics and data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the Non-Perishable category supply chain.</li><li> Develop contingency plans and response strategies to address supply chain disruptions caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters or transportation challenges.<br></li></ul><p><strong>The ideal candidate will have the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience (4-5 years) in supply chain management, preferably in a retail environment, with a focus on Non-Perishable categories.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of supply chain dynamics, including vendor management and quality control processes.</li><li>Strong numerical and analytical skills, adept at using data to make informed decisions and optimise supply chain operations.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Familiarity with supply chain software and technology (SQL, Python) is a plus</li></ul><p><strong><br>Benefits:</strong><br></p><ul><ul><li dir="ltr">Enjoy 25 days holiday per, plus bank holidays </li><li dir="ltr">Private Health Insurance </li><li dir="ltr">Extended sick pay and maternity / paternity leave pay</li><li dir="ltr">Perkbox</li></ul></ul><p dir="ltr"><br></p> •
