Description :

The Android Developer is responsible for the most challenging technical duties related to the company's information technologies.

Responsibilities:

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
3 years' experience as an application developer with java
Experience with at least one Object-Oriented programming language (Java, C#, Python)
Implementing communication with API servers via web-services using JSON and XML
Creating custom controls, animations and graphically rich applications.
Developer APIs, offline storage, background processing, threading, and performance optimization.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
Executes Mobile Engineering projects
Familiarity with databases and ability to write and execute SQL queries
For web applications, a developer must have prior experience in: HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, either a Microsoft/.NET stack including MVC or a full Java stack with supporting interface technology such as Java Server Pages, Java Server Faces, etc.
Experience with mobile software development using Java.
Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/GitHub)
Experience with the agile methodology Scrum
Experience with development of mobile network clients using HTTP protocol, REST APIs and Google Cloud Messaging
Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging
Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools)
Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analysers tools (DDMS, MAT)
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or related degree. A combination of education, experience and training may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
Evidence of strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate technical data to a wide variety of audiences
Evidence of the ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple deadline-oriented projects
Ability to incorporate new business requirements, technical designs, and non-functional requirements into application code
