Head of Operations (Trade and Logistics) for Betterware US

JOB SUMMARY:
- The Head of Operations (Trade and Logistics) will be responsible for managing the import of products from China and Mexico to the United States. Additionally, this role will oversee outbound logistics to our customers, ensuring smooth and efficient distribution. The position requires an intrapreneurial mindset focusing on rapid experimentation and innovation. The Head of Operations (Trade and Logistics) should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs is critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive trade (inbound) and logistics (outbound) strategy for Betterware US in line with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the import process of products from China and Mexico to the United States, ensuring compliance with all trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other key stakeholders (internal and external) to facilitate efficient trade operations.
- Collaborate with the product development and sourcing teams both in Mexico and the US to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Oversee outbound logistics, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer shipping, whether working with 3PL partners or owned warehouse and distribution facilities.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in trade and logistics, ideally with home goods products, appliances, and/or electronics.
- In-depth knowledge of trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export processes.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Experience working with 3PL providers or managing owned warehouse and distribution facilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high flexibility and adaptability.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
