The Role

At Stratpoint, we’re aware that continued business growth and relevance require companies to invest in their digital acceleration– and, it is our mission to help organizations execute their digital strategy. That’s why we are looking for a qualified Business Development Manager (BDM) to extend our reach through professional and creative nurturing of new, untapped business opportunities and relationships for the Philippine and international markets (U.S. and Asia-Pacific). 

We are currently seeking BDMs to manage the existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities for our 5 enterprise services— software services, cloud, data, AI/ML, and quality assurance. Each new hire will be assigned to a specific business service as their domain and territory. Some travel may be needed for this role for events, conferences, and client meetings.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced B2B sales professional who can be trusted to dive right into a customer-centric/consultative selling approach and learn the ins and outs of the company. The ideal candidate can confidently manage a healthy and strong sales pipeline from generating their own leads to closing deals. This role also requires the BDM to prospect & further, qualify and nurture leads. Success in this role will be measured through the number of opportunities won. BDM’s are paid a base pay + commission.

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to the business unit head for your assigned territory. You will work alongside other BDM’s. A pre-sales manager will assist in crafting your proposals.

We work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Confluent, and Outsystems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals through consultative selling and providing a high level of
    customer experience
  • Nurture, develop, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for strategically identifying and engaging prospective clients to drive
    business growth and expansion to both local and foreign markets.
  • Negotiate contract terms with potential customers and communicate with stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Manage and regularly update account databases.
  • Develop and manage short and long-term strategies aimed at achieving target sales volume.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers to share with managers and other stakeholders for strategy discussions
  • Recognize and seize the competitive advantage for Stratpoint in the marketplace
  • Work alongside the marketing team in increasing ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Senior Management.

About You
You are/have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in B2B tech selling for Enterprises/SMB
  • A Helper - you like to help people solve their problems and reach their goals
  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills
  • Results-oriented sales individual with sales and technical knowledge to lead customer discussions
  • Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (i.e. Pipedrive, Hubspot, etc)
  • Experience dealing with executive and C-level clients
  • General understanding or experience with at least one of the following:
    • Software Quality Assurance
    • Computer Vision (OCR, etc) or Natural Language processing solutions.
    • Selling public cloud and data platforms [AWS, Confluent, GCP]
    • Web and mobile application technologies such as Reactjs, Nodejs, Android, iOS, Flutter, and Outsystems
