At ILUXI there is only our online shop between the manufacturer (based in Madagascar and Mauritius) and the consumer. This short value chain sets ILUXI apart from the usual complex fashion sales models with numerous intermediate stages. Because of the resulting lower purchase prices and costs, ILUXI can invest in more high-quality materials and careful workmanship.

This makes ILUXI products particularly durable and leads to better sustainability.

For our headquarters in Hamburg we are looking for a:

Fashion Designer (m/f/d)

In this role you you are a part of our development team and responsible for co-creation of our product range.

Tasks

• Great opportunity for a creative designer to develop a new collection concept for the marketplace: Premium women's and men’s products from wovens to knitwear and accessories.
• Co-creation of the product range
• Execution and explaining style details to manufacturers
• Design sketching and technical specification including fittings.
• Close collaboration with the technical team

Requirements

• Relevant working experience for upper market or luxury brands
• BA - Design degree in Fashion Apparel
• Passionate creative designer with an eye for silhouette and shapes/love for detail and fabrications
• Consumer-focused, paired with the ability to see market trends and identify upcoming brands
• Product development and product management with the follow-through to the final execution
• Women's and Men's products as well as Woven and knitwear expertise
• Product development and product management with the follow through to the final execution
• Sourcing in country and initial pricing knowledge
• Experience with 3D design
