As an Events & Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of various events within the organization. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, offering exposure to various aspects of the field. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Tasks
Assistance in Event Planning:
- Collaborate with the events team to contribute creative ideas and concepts.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics.
- Aid in the selection of venues, vendors, and other event-related services.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance in preparing and maintaining event documentation.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of event-related materials.
- Handle inquiries and communications related to events.
On-site Event Support:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces.
- Support on-site event coordination, including registration and participant assistance.
- Act as a liaison between vendors, participants, and the events team.
Communication and Marketing:
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials for events.
- Contribute to social media updates and other communication channels.
- Engage with participants and attendees through various communication platforms.
Data Management:
- Help maintain databases related to events, including participant lists and contact information.
- Assist in post-event data collection and analysis.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate program (Event Management, Marketing, or related field).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn event management software.
- Fluent in both German and English
