Director of Commercial & Regulatory Legal (m/f/d) - Berlin

We are hiring a Director of Commercial & Regulatory Legal for a leading global tech company. This hire will be the sole counsel for Europe, part of the global legal team, and will support the business with commercial contracts and regulatory law in the EU.

Tasks

• Supporting the Partnerships team, you'll oversee numerous agreements and provide support for commercial contracting throughout Europe.
• Developing, and implementing compliance policies and procedures for expanding international operations amid evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse array of contracts, ranging from standard SaaS agreements to more intricate service deals.
• Regulatory compliance and public procurement processes across Europe.

Requirements

• Possess 5-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a lawyer.
• Proficient in commercial drafting and negotiation, showcasing expertise in managing commercial contracts and technology transactions.
• Demonstrated track record advising rapidly expanding enterprises operating within heavily regulated sectors on complex regulatory compliance matters.
• Fluent in both German and English, facilitating seamless business communication.
