We are looking for a passionate Senior Sustainability Manager to play an elementary role in helping us transform every company into a sustainable business, with critical responsibility and influence on our product and overall venture development.

In this key role, you will be the point of contact for our customers, ensuring their success in adopting and maximizing the value of the Cozero software and in their climate strategy.

Tasks

Who you are:

• You have a deep understanding in and experience with latest carbon accounting standards (CCF & PCF) and business compliance (e.g. GHG Protocol, GLEC) and EU regulatory frameworks (CSRD, SFRD, EU Taxonomy, etc.)
• You enjoy managing multiple customers, supporting them in their needs, managing their expectations and meeting deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on invested time. Your goal is to give them a positive experience throughout their decarbonization journey, even during challenging times.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to explain complex topics clearly, give guidance on the process and organize meetings that cater to various stakeholders (e.g. C-level, sustainability department, and internal team members.)
• Most of all, you care deeply about climate action and love contributing your skills to create real impact.

What you’ll do:

• You will lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Provide training sessions to customers on the use of our software ensuring they are equipped to achieve their sustainability goals.
• Proactively gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams, including sales, climate, product development, to address customer requirements and enhance the value of our solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• You will advise on customer data collection and analysis, supporting them to achieve complete, accurate and transparent carbon accounting.
• You will provide an expert voice to our customers, and develop knowledge sharing climate accounting and management education resources.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• You have substantial experience calculating, interpreting, and advising on corporate carbon footprints, target settings and reduction measures
• You have Customer Success Management, Key Account Management or Management Consultancy experience
• You have a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Sustainable Management, Climate Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
• You are fluent in English and German

Bonus points if you: You enjoy diving into the details - analyzing and fixing complex climate data problems to advise businesses on climate action. You have experience working with and using climate data sets (emission factor databases and LCA software)
