As a Sustainability Data Analyst, one of your key-responsibilities will be the application of data-driven approaches to managing our carbon footprint calculations.

Tasks

What you’ll do:

• You will develop tools and processes to support maintaining and improving our methodologies and models for calculating companies emissions.
• You will ensure our clients receive accurate carbon footprints of their organization as well as individual products by building out quality assurance and validation processes.
• You will transform external data sets so they are ready to be ingested into our calculation databases and models.
• While being part of Cozero's Climate team, you will closely collaborate with our data science and engineering teams, to deliver on high quality data outputs for internal and external use.
• You will work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to define and prioritize data needs.
• You will proactively develop ideas on how we can create more value out of our data as well as external data for our clients.

• Your meticulous eye for detail ensures thorough, systematic and accurate data analysis even when working with complex, unstructured and inconsistent datasets.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working as a data analyst or data scientist (ideally working with climate data).
• You have programming skills in Python and SQL and a strong understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling techniques.
• You have strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Extra bonus points if you also have the following:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science or another data-oriented discipline.
• Experience in carbon accounting and/ or life cycle assessment
• Knowledge of different carbon accounting standards and databases (e.g. GHG Protocol, GLEC, Ecoinvent)
