ASSOCIATE M/F/D- MONITORING & SURVEILLANCE CONTROLS

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as an Associate in the Monitoring & Surveillance department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of our operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment within the financial industry.

Tasks

• Monitoring and Analysis:

Conduct real-time monitoring of transactions, activities, and communications to detect and investigate potential fraudulent or suspicious behavior.

Analyze data and trends to identify patterns indicative of risks or non-compliance.

• Surveillance Operations:

Utilize advanced surveillance tools and systems to oversee various banking activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance surveillance protocols.

• Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Prepare and submit timely reports on monitoring and surveillance activities to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.

• Investigation and Resolution:

Conduct thorough investigations into flagged activities, collaborating with internal teams and external authorities as necessary.

Propose and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.

• Technology and Innovation:

Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in monitoring and surveillance.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of surveillance tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• First experience in monitoring, surveillance, compliance or a related field within the financial industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and surveillance tools.
