Expansion Lead

We are Klim, a Berlin-based clean tech company that is revolutionizing climate protection by advancing regenerative agriculture in Germany and Europe.

We have launched the world's first digital platform for regenerative agriculture, which is already being used by thousands of farmers. By marketing the associated climate protection services to companies, primarily from the food industry, we enable farmers to receive financial compensation for regenerative measures as well as high-quality advisory services.

In order to continue to grow, we are expanding our team and are looking for a motivated Expansion Lead (m/f/d).

Tasks

As a Expansion Lead, you will be an essential part of our team, laying the foundation for Klim's successful growth outside of Germany. You will work on expanding Klim's offering and presence to further countries, working directly with the Senior Team as well as a variety of additional teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Refinement and improvement of our expansion roadmap, taking several identified criteria and analyses into account
• Definition of market entry strategies for the respective markets
• Coordination of local hiring
• Client as well as further partner coordination together with the commercial as well as farmer relations team
• Being a great teammate to all other team members and having a lot of fun

Requirements

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree,
• You have gathered >4 years of work experience, ideally in a position where you had to build new structures and/or work on expansion topics
• You ideally have experience working in or dealing with food supply chains - anywhere from farmer to retailer level
• You work in a extraordinarily structured way and apply your structured approach to every task at hand
• You have excellent project management and analytical skills, are diligent and work with high attention to detail
• You have a proactive and independent working style allowing you to plan without close guidance
• You have a hands-on working style with the capacity to deliver strong results
• You are fluent in German and English, and ideally another European language such as Polish or French
