At Novocarbo, we work as a team to solve one of the most important problems of our time: our goal is to store 100 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere annually, making a significant contribution to achieving climate goals.
We are one of the largest producers and distributors of biochar in Europe and sell our Carbon Removal Credits to renowned companies worldwide. Several new sites for the production of biochar and regenerative heat are already in planning. To continue this positive momentum, we are looking for a Working Student (all genders) with Focus on Controlling & IT. As a working student, your support in setting up a viable controlling structure as well as your input to our growing IT Infrastructure will play a crucial role in Novocarbo’s growth.
This role is mainly office based. We’d appreciate if you can offer 15-20 hours working time spread to 3-5 days per week.
Tasks
- You own our internal IT helpdesk: help Novocarbo employees to set up and maintain their IT-equipment through the whole IT Employee Lifecycle as well as help ad-hoc requests to solve issues.
- You set up our workstreams for success by proactively identifying and implementing process automations for operative IT- and controlling tasks in Zapier and Power Automate.
- You help our Office Management to set up and maintain a scalable access & device management for the whole company.
- You support IT- and Data-related projects, such as database structuring, ERP implementation, and the introduction of new toolings and policies.
- Together with Business Controlling, you will establish data pipelines and data dashboards to support building a company-wide reporting framework.
Requirements
- These are your professional qualifications we’d appreciate:
You are currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree), preferably with a focus on IT, Data Science, Engineering or Business / Economics
- You know your way around IT infrastructure, have an affinity for data and IT and bring interest in setting up efficient, automated processes.
- You communicate fluent (min. B2-C1) in English. Basic German skills (min. A2-B1) are a huge plus.
- You are familiar with MS 365 and working with tool such as Notion, Zapier or Power Automate will come easy to you.These are your personal qualifications we’d appreciate:
